Hello,

to configure the partitions you can click on the Storage tab, right-click the robotic library click configure partitions then lick the storage tab, right-click the robotic library for which you want to create partitions and follow the wizard to finish configuring the partitions

The following document gives more information about Backup Exec 2012 robotic library partitions.

hope this helps

also are you using LEO? see; http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO73438

Yes you can have partitions with any number of slots selected. When BE gives you the partition option you can move the slots up and down and selct the number of partions you want to have.

Thanks
