    How to stop Disabling client interface. I have created a password protection to open the interface. But still client are able to disable the SEP.

    Enabled the High Protection for Virusscan and Spyware. But when disabling it shows following error ips is disabled. And diable option is also not grayed out.

    Running on windows 8.1 machine.

    Close the locks in the IPS policy

    I cannot see any option to close the lock. Can you suggest me the steps for it .

    In the third screenshot of the IPS policy you posted, the two locks are open. They need to be closed. Simply click on them to close and click OK to save the update. Wait until the client(s) pick up the policy change and they should be set.

    click on the small local icon... it will get closed the one in previous screen shot
