File Share Encryption

my annual upgrade assurance (former PGP bronze maintenance) expires very soon and I want to renew it for another year.

However under http://store.symantec.com/ I am neither able to fill in an "example reference number" nor a "Serial Number" as any possible numbers in my former PGP purchasing contract are not recognized.

Also I dont have a renewal-ID to fill in - from where can I get it???

I still intend to use PGP-(WDE) in the future, also with the possible future support for Lion, therefore I ask for assistance.

I think this would be something you have to address with Sales, or Customer Care as a licensing issue.  For Sales, you might want to go somewhere like here and use the Chat With Sales option.

thx for your help - finally I have managed to get it again (price is about 1/5 of full licence costs).

However - the purchasing does NOT go over Symantec online store but ONLY via Resellers...

So after finding one company suiting for my purpose (dealing with 1-100 licences; I required only one) I purchased in "usual" way (billing to my home address etc) as in Germany/Austria these companies usually dont offer online stores.

So something to keep in mind if you need to purchase the upgrade assurance quickly - usually this cannot be done in a few minutes online.

That should be sometime in the next month is what I'm being told by product management. Let's hope that is the case for the sanity of everybody involved.
