  • 1.  How to remotely remove Norton Security Scan

    We are a school system having over 1500 workstations with Norton Security Scan installed on them.  We spend a large amount of time manually cleaning this off these workstations.  Is there some way to remotely remove Norton Security Scan by using Group Policy, scripts, batch files and\or third party software?

    AFAIK, it can only be done via add/remove programs but perhaps using SCCM.

    Thanks.  I was afraid that might be the answer since we have tried a number of other attempts.

    Most of the information I have found either in the forum or online is very old.  The majory of that mostly involves removing Norton Security Scan from one workstation. 

    What I need is a way to remotely remove Norton Security Scan from workstations at thirteen school sites.

    I'd suggest posting on the Norton foum. The SEP client does not contain the Norton security scan.
