Dear Support friends............ Can you tell me how i disable the uninstallation password from SEPM.

In SEPM console go to Clients--->The group which you required to remove/change uninstallation password---->policies(right side)--->General settings--->security settings.
You will get the option here..

This is not working i also wait 2 days after doing same procedure from someone.............

Whether the client got the latest policy(This is also a policy cahage.).Go to the dtais tab of the Group in SEPM it will give you new policy sl. no.
Match it with the policy sl. no. in the client.
For this in the client GUI go to Hepl and support--->Troubleshooting.

Why you want to uninstall SEP?

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\AV\AdministratorOnly\Security

If UseVPUninstallPassword is 0 it means that the password is disabled.

If UseVPUninstallPassword is 1 it means that the password is Enabled.

Prachand's suggestion of setting the UseVPUninstallPassword does not work on SEP - only on SAV 10 & lower....unless the data of 0 or 1 are to be other than DWord.

There seems to be no automated method for SEP 11 unless you change the settings in SEPM to not use a password...though I haven't gotten to testing that either since we currently use a password.

If you want to uninstall sep client and you cannot do it. you can use cleanwipe for uninstall.
