Our SEP 12.1 EE just expired last September 4, 2016.

This is because the Symantec Reseller has not deliver the paper licenses up to this day.

Is there going to be any problem if we renew the licenses after the end/expirationn date? 

Because we cannot do anything until they deliver the paper licenses.

There is no paper license. You will recieve an SLF file to import into your SEPM to activate.

In our case sir, there is.

The paper license states the new Serial Numbers for the Renewed Subscription.

This should've been received via email.

The serial number is for downloading the software and the SLF file is for importing into the SEPM to activate the license.

Yes maybe they could send it to us via email.

But that's the arrangement given to us by the reseller and we Renew the licenses in that way every year.

Until we recieved the Serial Number from the reseller, we cannot renew the licenses. 

Well with SEP Enterprise, once the license expires, there is no loss of functionality. However, the SEPM will constantly remind you that it is expired.

I see. So there will be no problem if we renewed the license for example a month later the end date?

No, but, you want to get it renewed as soon as possible since you're running an expired license and technically this is not how it should be.
