Hi All,
I'd like to know if this is possible to do or not ?
I've got several partitions, namely OS 50 GB, Database 500 GB and Log 150 GB
not all of them is full, the total data usage is around 95 GB and I'd like to restore it into single partitions of 350 GB new RAID-1 LUN, How can i do this ?
since each partitions is saved into each own file and one file can only have one single destination ?
Thanks.

I'm not sure there is a way of doing this using the SRD.
One way of doing it would be:
1. Restore the system drive using the SRD and use the 'Resize drive after recover' option to make the new partition the size you want.
2. Boot the server into windows and then mount the other recovery points - then recover the data from those recovery points into the same partition.
Does this help?

Forever restart after restore.
Hi Chris,
I was able to restore finally after struggling with the Error Code:
Error: "V2iSR.exe - Application Error. The exception unknown software exception (0xC000417) occurred in the application at location 0x008DEE3E..." while restoring a recovery point using Symantec Recovery Disk
I found out that is due to the ESXi partitions still exist in the old server, OK I finally reconfigure the partition using 3rd party Disk partitioning tool.
But then after the restore process, my OS is infinitely restarting ?
I didn't check restore anyware (the server difference is the SCSI controller from PERC 6/i into SAS6i/r) I've also restore each partitions using "Restore Disk signature" options already and only mark the C drive partitions as boot/active ?

If the server is now stuck in
If the server is now stuck in a reboot loop you are going to need to find a way of capturing the blue screen stop code. This types of problems are *usually* driver related.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the Windows Server 2003 doesn't display any BSoD at all, as soon as the grey progress bar dissapears, the server restart back to POST condition.
Does it really matters if I reorder the partition apart from the C drive (Boot OS which I always mark it as active ?)

Hi Chris,
Previously the order of the partitions in the old server is:
but for the new server disk partition layout I changed into something like:
would that be the problem when doing the restoration using the "Restore drive signature" option and smaller size for the above partitions ?

I don't see that as a problem. Are you not restoring the utility partition then? That could be the problem here...
