How to restore system reserved partition through command line

Created: 28 Oct 2013 | 1 comment

Hi there,

I use SSR 2011 to backup our Windows 7 workstations and need to restore it on different machines.

I found this procedure : http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH129112 and it works fine.

But I need to automate it so that I can easily restore some computers at the same time.

I managed to automate the diskpart section but I'm blocked at the system reserved partition restore.

I used this command line %SHELLPATH%\V2I\V2ISR.EXE -SV2I %1 -HPL 0-1 -NUI -ORM -ONVB -AYA -OSA but the wizard still prompts.

Is my command line correct ?

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Officially, using SSR (v2isr.exe) to deploy\clone machines is not supported. To accomplish this, please look into the command-line-driven tool Ghost Solution Suite: http://www.symantec.com/ghost-solution-suite
