If you open the .slf file in a text editor, you should be able to see the date

You can download definitions from here:

    http://www.symantec.com/security_response/definitions.jsp

You can than run it on offline clients to update them.

    Hello,

In case you have unmanaged clients, you could not check the License status as you see in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.

In your case, Open the .slf in the Notepad and you can obtain the license information.

    Check these Articles:

    Checking license status

Secondly, when you are connected to the Internet, you may like to visit Symantec Liveupdate website:

    http://www.symantec.com/security_response/definitions/download/detail.jsp?gid=savce

from where you could download the Intelligent Updater which would assist you in Installing the definitions on the client which are not connected to the Internet.

    Hope that helps!!
