Hi Experts,

We had a big incident today where our SMG servers are hit by some auto generating email from one of our external partners. This caused our servers to hit 100% utilization everytime. This is now resolved but we would like to have at least a notification in place that will tell us if the CPU has reached a threshold.

I already checked the alert settings under Administration but I can only find settings for disk space alerts. Do you know if there is something we can set for CPU usage monitoring?

Hi Rey,

As i know there are two prossibilities

- SNMP: Take a look at UCD-SNMP-MIB.txt as part of the SMG provided MIB-Files

- Customized script monitoring the CC-Webpage: Quite difficult to automated login but it can be done eg via powershell-script.
