How to slow down backup speed?  One of my VM CPU load is around 100% at the time of backup.

Well I dont think there is a option avaialbe to slow down the  backup speed . You may need to find what excatly is caausing the CPU to shoot to 100%, one of the cause for this can be a antivirus scan ruuning at the same time when backup is running .

Hi,

Check Task Manager and see what sort of resources beremote.exe is using...

Thanks!

I make backup at VM level using VMware API so it's agentless.

Do you have the all the latest updates installed ? If not installed then you may run the live update and install the available update.

IS this happending on only Vm or All ? IF on one Vm what application does it have ?

...your data stores have enough disk space to cater for the 20% that should be free for snapshots?

Thanks!

OK...it might still be worth your while checking the resources inside the VM and see if any processes are hogging the available resources.
