Symc Protection Suite Enterprise edition consists of both SEP and a few add on products like "Symantec™ Mail Security for Microsoft® Exchange Server" (SMSE). For my site, I have SEP manager (SEPM) and SMSE installed in different servers. How can one tell how many SMSE licenses are actually in use ? We cannot assume the number of both SEP and SMSE users are the same.
Even if these two number are the same during day one, at SEP one can check the usage and get warning if overuse from SEPM. What will be the situation if the number of users of MSME exceed the purchased number of purchase license of Symc Protection Suit Enterprise edition ? Will the administrator receive warning ?
