When I attempt to run the uninstall.sh script as root I get the following error:

    /tmp/uninstall.sh : /opt/Symantec/symantec_antivirus : bad interpreter permission denied

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issues or why it is happening?

    How did you elevate? sudo?

What permissions are set on the script?

    Hi,

You must have superuser privileges to uninstall the Symantec Endpoint Protection client on the Linux computer. The procedure uses sudo to demonstrate this elevation of privilege.

Refer this guide: Uninstalling the Symantec Endpoint Protection client for Linux

The thing is I am logged in as root and I still cannot uninstall the script. Any other ideas?
