Hi everyone,

i tried to virtualize Cubase 4. Everything works fine, but i can't update it. If i'm going to select "update existing layer" i only can select .msi or .exe. I also can't record all system changes because the .msp patcher is looking for a correct installed application.

Any thoughts?

Best,
Benjamin

Hi Ademeijer,

Thanks for this suggestion but i already tried it. It won't work since the MSP Package is checking if Cubase is installed. But i have to deactive all layers first, before updating a existing layer. That means Cubase won't be found by the MSP.

Global captures

Dynamitec,

When you de-activate all layers, and then update existing layer, select the layer that contains cubase, and then select global capture.
Wiat for 5 seconds, and you will see that Cubase is activated. Then you can update it with the msp.
