Hi everyone, I have some trouble in updating the 'Proactive Thread protection' and 'Network Thread Protection' in Symantec Endpoint Protection.
Since our network is internal (not allowed to access to the internet/outside world), I can't use the LiveUpdate feature in the endpoint protection software. Thus, I try to download the definition by using other computer to get the *.jdb file as Symantec website shows (then distribute to the network). However, the jdb file itself is only able to update the definition for Antivirus and Antispyware protection (not for both proactive and network thread - as written in the website as well). To download the proactive and network thread, I try with the LiveUpdate Administrator v 2.2 to get the signature and distribute to all the clients using the download and distribute feature. However, the LiveUpdate Administrator v2.2 itself is also unable to download the signature for both proactive and network thread protection (but able to download for Antivirus and Antispyware protection) - correct me if I am wrong.
Is there any other way to update my proactive thread protection and network thread protection definition by using "indirect" way like above (no connection to the internet for the internal network)?
