I have some clients which are already under 11, when I upgrade clients as per your attached documents, it is asking me to select a group, however the clients from SEP11(SEP11 Manager installed in a different Computer)  ofcourse are not listed in the SEP12 group.

Do I need to add the clients first to the group or how to accomplish this?

This system are not listed in SEPM 12.1 ?

If No Please use Syslink replace tool and move all system to sep 11 to sepm 12.1 and after you can use Autoupgrade fature.

or create a sep client package from SEPM 12.1 and use the deployment wizard and push to the SEP 11 clients. Note that while creating the package you can use the remove all the communication and logs settings.

You can create Installation package and push to all sep 11 client ..

When you wiill be create New Package you can Select this setting after you will deploy SEP client.

After this setting your client not be showing old server.

My issue is I have a few clients left in the SEP11 server. Your article describes how to maintain the communication to new server after the client installation. 

Kindly advise me how to push the new package from the new server to those old clients(there are only few clients left)
