Hi
I have symantec endpoint protection manager version 11.0.2000.1567 and i need to upgrade it to 11.0.6005.562 or the latest version, how can i upgrade it??

Your version is too old.It is not recommend to upgrade directly from RU5 or MR4  to RU6MP1

But you have 11.0.2000 you should try to upgrade MR5 but i am not sure you can do it from Mr2. I will search it in forum.

How many users have you got?

RU6 MP1 is the latest version. To upgrade it to RU 6 Mp1, first you need to upgrade to RU6 or RU6a which can be upgraded form the existing version in your environment.

Then you can upgrade to RU6 MP1 ( since RU6 MP1 can be upgraded RU6 or RU6a)

Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6100 (RU6 MP1) can migrate seamlessly over the following:

• • Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6000.550 (RU6), and 11.0.6005.562 (RU6a).

You can directly upgrade from 11.0.2000.1567 to 11.0.6005.562 .Follow the procedure in below KB

Migrating to Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 RU6

Note:11.0.6005.562 is also know as RU6a

I have 160 users

Take backup

install RU6;

run the setup.exe from sepm folder

this will upgrade SEPM

once done use the autoupgrade feature..

First ot All take a BackUp & then Stop Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Service.

Now run the Set.exe it will upgrade your SEPM.

it's better to upgrade from 11.0.2000 to (11.0.6_MP1) or (11.0.6_A)?

There's two version available from the Symantec FileConnect site:

1-Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_11.0.6A_Xplat_EN

2-Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_11.0.6_MP1_Xplat_EN

There's any problem if i migrated SEPM to 11.0.6000 and have clients version (11.0.2000) and (11.0.5002)?

Yes you can have it, however not recommended.You can manage for sometime :)
