  • 1.  How will you extend the retention/visibility of a computer in SEPM?

    Please see how would we extend or lessen the amount of time SEPM retains the computers even after cool down.

    hi, i guess you looking for this settings.

    login SEPM click on admin==server==right click on local site and on general tab you have option "Delete clients that have not connected for X days".

    Hope that answers your query.

    The post query is not yet clear to me. Do u want to know that how long a offline cliemt will remain in the SEPM

    Go to Admin --> servers --> Local Site --> Edit Site Properties --> delete clients that have not connected for [nn] days.

    but when you do this, if a PC is not connected for the period specified you'll see a warning on your home page and the security status will be RED and this is something you don't want to see :)

    What we are experiencing is:

    Computers that were not anymore connected to the SEPM server are still detected for a number of days...

    My question is:

    Where will I set options to free computers from SEPM visibility if it has cooled down/ power off for 5 days?
    Could I be notified by SEPM if  certain computers are already over the threashold disconnected  time?
    Hope there would be some way that I could see them from SEPM console.. the status of connection.

    Sorry for the many questions..
    I just want to learn more..

    login SEPM click on admin==server==right click on local site and on general tab you have option "Delete clients that have not connected for 5 days". The clients do not communicate with SEPM for 5 days, hence it is not seen in console. When it rejoins next time, it is seen again in the SEPM.



    Could I be notified by SEPM if certain computers are already over the threashold disconnected time?
    My information on this says NO.


    Hope there would be some way that I could see them from SEPM console.. the status of connection.
    the status of the client shows online based on the green dot shown of the client in the SEPM.
