How to work with Quick Link Dialog Component

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Dear All,

Have you ever used this component? I'm trying to send an email to the user for his approval using this component.

Everything goes OK, but when I click the link sent in the mail "Approve" I get the following error:

Sorry, there was error quering link data. Probably this response was already made.
Error details:
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction: at System.Web.Services.Protocols.Soap11ServerProtocolHelper.RouteRequest() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapServerProtocol.Initialize() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.ServerProtocol.SetContext(Type type, HttpContext context, HttpRequest request, HttpResponse response) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.ServerProtocolFactory.Create(Type type, HttpContext context, HttpRequest request, HttpResponse response, Boolean& abortProcessing)

Have you tried this component? Do you know what is happening and how to solve it?

Thanks in advance.

I never was able to get this working. I believe I just went in to my dialog workflow component and chose the option for allow multiple responses. Which should in a sense do the same thing by giving you multiple links for Approve/Deny or whatever you've created in your responses. In your event notification when you send out an email you should see the responsepage url/links for the responses you created. Hopefully that makes sense.

Hi b3tts32,

How did you do that? I'm trying different things and cant get it work.

What do you have to put in the new dialog (that appears when you check "allow multiple responses"). I tried with a "Send Mail Component" but nothing happens.

And works it the same way as the Quick Link Dialog? This is, it send a mail whith 2 or 3 links and when you click one of its you solve your task (without using the process manager, or browser)??

Can you give me a little example to help me start to investigate?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry I've been out all week and didn't see that you responded to the thread.

When you create your new dialogs for the "allow multiple responses" I would just connect the start to end components if you want it to pass through once they click on the link. The only other thing you may put would be a terminating form builder if you want something that says it completed successfully or what not.

Your send email component is going to go in your event configuration model which will go to whoever you assign it to or whom you want approving the tasks. When you add the email component in the model under the html body you will see your multiple response url's.  I will attach some screenshots so hopefully you have a better idea.

Thanks b3tts32,

That solved my problem. It makes the same that I was trying to do. Thank you.
