  • 1.  Howto quarantine messages from connections where no reverse DNS record exists for the connecting IP address

    Hi,

my SMG is configured to "reject connections where no reverse DNS record exists for the connecting IP address" under "Protocols/Settings".

However I noticed that sometimes SMG drop legit mailst too.

Is there a way to accept the messages and quarantine them instead of reject ?

    Thanks.

No, there are no options for that feature. We either drop or we accept those connections.

The only workaround would be for you to create the missing DNS entries manually in your local DNS server. That way the SMG see the records it is looking for.
