Endpoint Protection

I am trying to find a how-to, or figure out how I can get my SEP client machines to get security definitions at a scheduled time, from our Liveupdate server.  When I run LiveUpdate from the SEP client, the clientc hecks in with the LU server, and I get a message at the end: "All Symantec products on your computer are currently up to date."  I am not sure how I need to distribute the security definitions to get this to work.

liveupdate
policy in the source put LU server
click on schedule put a schedule
Make sure you have configured a distribution

Tried that earlier, the Event viewer gives this error (on the client machine):  LiveUpdate returned a non-critical error.  Available content updates may have failed to install.
Edit: I have not tried to configure the Liveupdate administrator to use the UNC protocol yet.  I will try that and post a reply.

that might be because u had a schedule to use internet and client had no internet connection
you dont have a single client which is getting the update from the LU Server

Have you verified your LiveUpdate server is downloading the content you require and has updates to provide to your endpoints?

I have the download schedule set up to download Symantec Endpoint Protection v11.0 English every night.  Do I need to add a distribution schedule?

Yep, that's what I needed.  I set up the distribution schedule to send it to production.  Now I understand how these pieces come together.
