Does anyone know of any issues with creating an image for HP 5850. Our issue is after it reaches the 100 % complete, normally it goes to a routine where it reboots a couple of times and goes to a login state.

But with HP 5850, after 100 %, the screen would go blank and that is it. When a reboot is initiated with power on switch, it boots up with fthe an really blowing harder than normal and the only way to cut it off is to pull the plug. Tried this with (2) other HP 5850 with the same result. All other models are OK regardless of manufacturer and models.

HP claims it is a Deployment issue.

Thanks!

I had the same problem back in October. I was using DOS as the PXE Boot. The problem was the %BOOT_DRV%:\dreboot.exe -hard in the Autoexec.bat file. I changed it to -soft and it worked. Altiris said even though it was a good work around they don't suggest using it but switch to Winpe. I switched to Winpe and the problem went away. Please see KB Article ID: 44131.

Hope this helps,

Robert
