    Hi all,

By booting the new blade server into PXE it does not work.

    It shows:

Please wait while Altiris Windows PE2 x64 (PXE boot) loads...

    Initializing Windows PE2...

    Loading user prestart applications...

     >call "X:\prestart\drvload.cmd"...

    DrvLoad: Successfully loaded X:\oem\cpqcidrv\cpqcidrv.inf .

    DrvLoad: Successfully loaded X:\oem\hpqilo2\hpqilo2.inf .

    Initializing network...
    Starting the network...
    Loading drivers...
    Using Dynamic IP.
    Configuring WinPE firewall...
    Firewall disabled.
    Establishing network connection...
    Validating IP address...
Restarting DHCP client service: retry 1...

Restarting DHCP client service: retry 2...

Restarting DHCP client service: retry 3...

Restarting DHCP client service: retry 4...

Restarting DHCP client service: retry 5...

I read that some mentioned about missing network drivers.

But can anyone please help me with a solution? smiley

You need to add the drivers for the NIC into WinPE. You need the Windows Server 2008 drivers (not R2)

You may need to update the firmware of the NIC.

Go to Tools > PXE Configuration, select the WinPE menu option > Edit > Edit boot image.

The Edit Boot configuration window will open at Step 9, click Edit at the bottom and you should go to Step 1.

Click next and, at step 2, click Have Disk, and browse to your downloaded Windows Server 2008 drivers. Once they're imported continue clicking next through the steps until you get the option to create image and do that.
