HP Install Support.... 0 computers 0% failed

I am running two test machines which have had Altiris Agent 7 deployed to them from an HP Client Manager 7.0 server, the installation of HP Instant Support Diagnostics also shows as successful for both on the server. However, I have been unable however to get the HP Instant Support Diagnostics and Health Scan to run against them, checking the scheduled job I see both machines listed as targets so I tell it to Run Now, but it then proceeds to run for about 15 minutes before finishing with a status of 0 computers and 0% failed.

Is there a way from the client I can verify they have the components needed to run this check? What else could be causing this process to not only fail, but fail to even state the status of any of the computers involved even though they are valid targets?

This appears to be a problem

This appears to be a problem with many elements, such as HP Client Inventory Task, the client agent never receives the task (as shown by its status and history) and the job on the server runs for 10-15 minutes before ending without registering either success or failure for ANY machine. Because it isn't generating any errors I haven't the foggiest clue as to where to start, it's not telling me anything!

The only part to have worked so far is an automatic deployment of Altiris Agent followed by HP Client Manager, Out of Band Discovery and Power Scheme Agent. They all deploy successfully, but thereafter I don't seem to be able to get the agent or its packages to DO anything.

Anyone any ideas? The clients

Anyone any ideas? The clients appear to successfully register with the server and run a basic inventory, but no other task works, HP inventory, HP health scan, etc. All of them fail in the way detailed above.

To check whether the HPCM Agent is installed...

...please check for the following:

1. Ensure the NS agent has been delivered to the clients (there should be an NS agent icon in systray
2.  Ensure that the HPCM Agent policy has been enabled (check the HPCM Portal Page)
3.  Ensure tha the HPCM agent is installed on the client (Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\HPCMSAgent
4.  Please note that the various tasks for Inventory, Diags install etc have predefined tasks which run on a schedule.  If you want to run them yourself, you can push these tasks from the Portal Page.  When you push the tasks, on the client side, you should be able to pull up the NS agent and see the tasks being delivered.

Please search for the videos posted on HP Client Manager 7.0 which show you how to push such tasks.
