HPCM Alert/Report Purging

(Hopefully this is posted in the right place)

In the main HPCM portal, there are web parts that display alerts of varying kinds.  I've tried purging the event data under Settings->Notification Server->Purging Maintenance.  This information is still retained.

 

What is the proper way to purge those alerts or resolve them?

 

I.E., I have a managed DC7800 PC with a bad secondary drive.  A Smart status alert is thrown, and displayed in the Hardware Health Alerts webpart. This drive has since been replaced, but the Alert continues to be displayed in that web part.  Once issues are resolved, I'd like to remove those alerts as I see fit.  I can't seem to figure out how to purge this information.  Any help would be appreciated.

Having the option of just resolving the alert and letting it clear down would have been a better option but no lets make it more complicated instead ;)

For me, under purging maintenance I just added the HPCMS Clientevent and HPCMS Health into the global settings and set retention to one day.
