Huge amount of OFFLINE files

Backup Exec 2014: Storage - Offline Tape Media - Details

I counted number of pages and multiplied it with numbers of rows per screen and result was 3400.

As far as I can tell, all should be good with tapes. Backup-to-disk shares are fine and inventoried. They check out. I don't get it where this huge number of offline files comes from.

At the beginning of the list, there are couple of files named "? (Bad Media)". Rest of the files are B2D*. Delete-button is disabled. How to get rid of these imaginary files (probably ghosts)?

What does the labels of these tapes show? Are they valid tapes that have been used before?

Go to the BE installation directory and use BEUtility to repair the BEDB.
