Morning all
We have a windows 2008 server with Hyper V installed, we then have 3 virtual machines running 1 x 2003 , 2003 R2, 2008
On the Main Host Machine we have Backup exec 2010, Agent for Hyper V and Agent for SQL server installed.
Each of these machines has "Remote Agent" Installed
we are receiving the following errors
Click an exception below to locate it in the job log
Backup- VRTSRV::\\oregon.gooutdoors.local\Hyper-V?Virtual?Machine\lightship2V-79-57344-38726 - Backup Exec failed to connect to virtual machine 'lightship2' and was unable to collect the necessary metadata to restore individual application items. You cannot perform GRT-enabled restores of application data from this backup.
Backup- VRTSRV::\\oregon.gooutdoors.local\Hyper-V?Virtual?Machine\DuaneDibbleyV-79-57344-38727 - Backup Exec failed to snap virtual machine 'DuaneDibbley' and was unable to collect the necessary metadata to restore individual application items. You cannot perform GRT-enabled restores of application data from this backup.
Backup- VRTSRV::\\oregon.gooutdoors.local\Hyper-V?Virtual?Machine\BlueMidgetV-79-57344-38727 - Backup Exec failed to snap virtual machine 'BlueMidget' and was unable to collect the necessary metadata to restore individual application items. You cannot perform GRT-enabled restores of application data from this backup.
I have checked that the "Remote Agent" is running, I have checked that the "Resource credentials" are correct
Any help mucho appreciated.
Mark

I don;t think you have to call support as written in the TN. Just supscribe to the above TN and you will receive an email once they have a Hotfix for the same.
