  • 1.  I am unable to download the latest defnination to my SPEM

    Hi

     

    I am unable to download the latest definitions to SPEM. It worked until I unfortunately installed scep to my sepm server , but now I have uninstalled the sep and installed sep again to my sepm server. But I cant download . Please help.

    are you getting any error ? or can you elobrate more on the issue that you are facing ?

    Yes. Liveupdate failed

    can you share the error code or the screenshot ? if you are not getting one do the below steps and then let us know.

    Open control Panel

    Open Symantec live update 

    in General tab, change the mode to "Interactive Mode" and the error suport level to "ENHANCED"

    In Update Cache tabe cleate the cache and set the cache level not less than 1 GB

    Apply and the Ok

    Now from the Run command Window, Type Luall.exe and then run the live update

    if it throws any errors post the error message or the screenshot so that we can assist you further.

    The latest version on manager is updated last 30.03..2015 r9. Is it correct?

    Need more info. What's in the log.liveupdate?

    Run the symhelp too on it:

    Hi

    I don't have symante live update icon  from control panel

    Hi,

    I would suggest following plan of action.

    1) Repair the SEPM via add/remove program

    2) Try to run liveupdate manually, go to Start --> Run --> (Type) luall.exe

    If failed post the error screen-shot.
