Hello,

As per the logs, the DB source is missing. Try these steps:

1. Browse to conf.properties by navigating through

%Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\etc\conf.properties
2. Edit Conf.properties
3. Add scm.db.datasource= jdbc/metadatabase at the last line (There will be a space after the equal sign)
4. Save the file

Execute Management Configuration Wizard.

Once the Management Configuration is complete. Symantec Endpoint Manager services would be started and you should be able to login to SEPM console.

Check this Thread with similar Issue:

Hope that helps!!

Follow this

You can increase the disk space

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/issue-related-low-disk-space

Then try to restart the SEPM Service or check the issue status

Hi,

Try the following steps

1) Stop the Symantec Embedded database service.

2) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db\ within Windows Explorer.

3) Locate the sem5.log and rename it to sem5.log.old

4) Open a command prompt  and navigate to the following location: C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\ASA\win32

5) Issue the following command: dbsrv11 -f "C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db\sem5.db

6) Start the Symantec Embedded Database service through the service control manager (services.msc).

Try to run management server configuration wizard.

Uninstall and reinstall (Disaster Recovery) should be the last step to perform.

Hi,

Why you have delete your database (sem5.db) ?

Do you have old database.

If you don't have database backup you need to reconfigure SEPM and reconnect sep client using sylink replacer tool
