i got 252 error

This issue has been solved. See solution.

when full backup is running I got the following error: extended error status has been encountered, check logs(252).. how to troubleshoot ?

when we will get this error ? if possible plz explain..

master server details : Master
PC, WindowsXP
7.1.0.0.0.4
NetBackup
7.1
Windows2003 5

client details:

PC-x64, WindowsXP
7.1.0.0.0.4
NetBackup
7.1
Windows2008 6

This is because of the media stuck in the drive. Run the robtest to resolve this. Steps are here:

There are multiple possible causes of status 252, to start I would look in the details for the job in activity monitor, to see where abouts in the job the issue happened.
