I do not see my Central Quarantine Server, yet when I go to install it, it is telling me that it is ALREADY installed. I tried to do this from another machine, to connect to it, and it won't connect, the re install keeps failing because it says it is installed, and I can't uninstall it because there is NOTHING listed to remove, this is going on for BOTH my Central Quarantine Server and Console. Please help...

See if this KB is helpful -

Manually uninstalling the Symantec AntiVirus Central Quarantine Server from Windows NT/2000/XP/2003

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2004040810364148

Then try to reinstall the QS.

If quarantine console/server are not installed but the installer thinks they are then there must still be entries left in the registry that tell them that it is installed.

Go over the instructions in the following document to clean out the registry:

Manually uninstalling Central Quarantine Server for Symantec Client Security 3.x or Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 10.x

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2005051918304648

Make sure you are in a console session before doing this via the Set command at a command prompt.

Sessionname = TCP-RDP#1 or the like is just not going to work.

I do not want to wipe the server, I just want to get CQS and CQC back on.

All of the CQ services are listed and set to Automatic but do not start...

Wow, every day, there is something wrong with Symantec, and there is NEVER an easy fix, it always requires SO MUCH work. digging in and ripping out all of the registry keys, that is too much... I don't want to search the registry and remove the keys one by one, isn't there a better way? This is too much!!!!!

Well you can use the Window Installer cleanup utility. Its a pretty good tool.
It gives you the list of installed apps on your computer.just highlight and click remove and it should remove it..
the only thing is if the Windows Installer tool finds the intance then only you will be able to remove it.
