I want throttling of SCAN process to certain % i.e 20% of CPU

Hello Folks,

Is there any way to specify how much % resource my Symantec scan engine can eat or you can say I want throttling of SCAN to certain % becuase it is affecting my production server productivity.

You can reduce the number of threads it will use/make available but it does not have the option to throttle cpu usage to a specific percentage. If this server is not dedicated to the scan engine it might be worth while to dedicate a system to the scan engine.

This could be a good idea to submit to the ideas section.
