    Hi,

To follow on from the patching of the ACHI driver (ahci.ko) to enable ICH9/10 support, I've now patched the ATA driver (ata_piix.ko).

If you have both of these drivers present in you Linux automation environment you should have little difficulty imaging computers with ICH9 and ICH10 controllers whatever you SATA configuration.

You can download the revised module here,
    http://users.ox.ac.uk/~iana/ata_piix.ko

Simply add this to bootdisk creator and rebuild your PXE Linux environment.

The key check here is that when enter Linux automation, you can locate the driver file in,
    /lib/modules/2.8.18.8/kernel/opt/bdc

I had to do this a couple of times before the driver appeared in my Linux automation, which was a little confusing. My DS 6.9 box isn't service packed though.

Initial tests look good with this (though we're continuing to test to ensure the driver is stable).

    Kind Regards,
    Ian./
