for example if have installed SEP11 in 1000 pc's manually, how shell i ensure that all the pc's are pointing to SEPM?

Okay, outside of poring through the logs, is there a quicker way to answer the question "what SEPM server does this client report to?"

assuming your SEP client is connected to your SEPM, click Help & Support, Troubleshooting and it will tell you there under the field "Server"

Excellent, that was what I was looking for.

Follow-up question:  Is there also a quick way to get a view or report listing each client and its respective managment server?

the client status query under Monitors, Logs in the SEPM console should show you the SEPM the client was reporting to at its last contact.
