IDR Preparation Wizard Fails. asr.sif The system cannot find the file

I run throught the IDR media prep wizard and eventually recieve this error.
"Error getting file info on "\\servername\c$\Program Files\Veritas\Backup Exec\NT\IDR\data\asr.sif" The system cannot find the file specified.
I have checked and the file is there and is a current version i.e. the created date is the same as the date of the backup.

This server is a Brand new IBM x series.
It has 2003 server with the latest service packs.
It has two raid arrays.
I have an identical machine running as it should.
The asr.sif files has been created and can be found at the location refered to in the error given.
I thought this forum was run by symantec! So where are the symantec support experts????
Are you washing your hands of support for your products?????????
Sorry didnt realise you are an employee, I thought you were another user.
Still have had no joy with this machine.
Please can somebody shed some light on this.
