Check Job logs located at  X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Data.

Job logs will be xml format, you may convert them into HTML or TEXT format using bemcmd

Refer to http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH50514

Where is bemcmd? What is the specific file name for the xml files? Is it easy to convert the files so I can read them?

BEMCMD is found in the BE installation directory.

Look at the Data directory and you will see a bunch of XML files. These are the job logs. The filenames are strings of alphanumeric characters.

The document referenced earlier will help you to convert them to either text files or HTML files
