  • 1.  I'm getting the error 99 on

    I'm getting the error 99 on the create disk image task and the image only has a A, C and D drive...anyone know where else i can dig to fix this? GSS3HF1. Status details are the following:

    Restarting pc to prepare...

    booting to automation

    uploading disk image

    error -99 during imaging process

     

    ...or where i can veify my PE is in fact changed to M?

    Have you tried entering Error 99 in the search field for this forum?

    You can try creating a Run Script Task to just do a "Pause" using the same WinPE option and see what Drive it maps.

    The most common thing I have seen is when a network mapping didn't happen for one reason or another.   The most common being the default option of F is already in use.    (your system has a C: OS,  D: Recovery E:Tools  and an F: for a CD/DVD so we can't map to the express share as F:)     

    The other issue would be that the WIN pe environment doesn't have the needed network drivers in the boot package.  

    Look at what the client is doing maybe take a video of the scripts as they run and then you can see the exact reason it isn't working.

    Marking ICHB's post as the solution as this issue is most commonly down to the eXpress share not being mapped. To avoid this, the drive mapping of the eXpress share should be move to M:\ (rather than F:\).
