  • 1.  I'm getting error while sending report to Internal mail address

    Hi,

    I'm using brightmail gateway 9.0.2-9 and there is no problem inbound and otbound mail trrafic. But ;

    I scheduled daily report for everyday but it could not send mail to me... i try to send with "RUN" button for send manually and typing my own inetrnal mail adress and getting this error ;  An error was encountered while trying to email your report. Please check the system configuration and try again.

     

    But only i'm getting this error for typing my internal mail address. There is no problem while sending external mail address..

     

    i found this post http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH83073&key=51975&actp=LIST but this is not solution this is not my issue..

    Sometimes, the email address of the SBG needs to be defined in the Mail server to be allowed through especially if it uses the same domain for the email address.

    If your Brightmail Control Center (BCC) is stand alone, it may be required to configure it's SMTP setting to deliver messages:

    Go to Administration Tab
    On the left under settings, select Control Center
    Select the SMTP tab
    Define "new host" to your internal mail server.

    On your mail server, make sure your BCC is added to allow message delivery.
