Solaris 10 VCS, NBU ES v6.5.3.1.

The NBDB portion of the catalog backup is acceptable - circa 85MB/s dual inline copy to LTO4.  The /db/staging area is on the same volume as the images database.  But, the images database part is appalling - < 10 MB/s dual inline copy to LTO4.

Cluster storage is VxVM on NetApp FAS 3070 via Emulex FC HBAs.  Volume is a 400Gb NetApp RAID-4 (2D-1P) TradVol spread over two 15K 300GB FCAL spindles.  Catalog is currently occupies 255GB on a 400GB LUN.

Have done the usual bpbkar speed read test - same deal at < 10MB/s.

Any tips?
