  • 1.  Image Deploy Failure

    Deployment Solution is 6.9.  Automation environment is WinPE x64.  Ghost version is 11.5.

    We just got a Dell Precision M4700 to test out, however, when attempting to deploy an image to this machine it fails with an error -99 during imaging process.

    This same image works fine on other machines.  Anyone have any ideas?

    I would love to, however, there isn't one that appears to correspond to the date/time this happened.  The last GHOSTERR.TXT file I have is from 8/16 which has nothing to do with my problem.

    What I see happening is Ghost tries to launch in WinPE, doesn't look like it completes launching (almost like it is hanging up) and then some time later it fails in the Altiris console with the above error.  This only happens with the Dell Precision M4700.

    Update - Upgraded from DS 6.9 SP3 to SP5 and it seems to work now.  Did not notice if the Ghost version had changed or not.  Ghost version appears to be 11.5.1.
