We have Symantec Management Platform 7.5.1 and we have been using deployment solution just fine till the latest HP computers we recieved.  The hardware independent image we have will not allow the use of dual monitors on the new machines.  So I thought it might be an issue pulling the older image down onto the new machines, so I rebuilt the image using the new machine.  Now no computer using this image can use dual monitors.  Everything was working just fine before.  I only add nic drivers to the driver store, we have a share where we manually pull down the drivers we need.  This works for us, so I'm sticking with it.  Anyway, I didn't add any nic drivers for these new HPs because they booted into the deployment environment just fine.  The job I created that has always worked is "Prepare for Image Capture > Create Image > Boot to Production"  there is no errors during this job.

update:  Computer is stuck in vgasave mode.  It is not checked in boot up, I have removed all video drivers rebooted and it starts using the windows default.  I then try to install the proper Intel Video driver and then it changes over to vgasave mode and I cannot change it.

I ran into the same issue today after using an image created for a desktop on a laptop.  Everything works fine except HDMI and VGA output. Have you found a fix?

Never got an answer, so I'm having to build images for specific models now.  This is not how hardware independant images work, but you have to make due with no help.
