GSS 2.0 I deleted a hiberfil.sys of 1g and pagefile.sys of 1.5g from my image whis was made with GSS ...

Ghost does not store the contents of those two files, just a record of their size so they can be recreated ...

Getting rid of all the windows hotfix uninstallers saves a lot of space.

GSS 2.0 I deleted a hiberfil.sys of 1g and pagefile.sys of 1.5g from my image whis was made with GSS 1.1.
Then compiled. However, Image is still exact same size as original 5g. shouldnt it be reduced to 2.5 g????

Ghost does not store the contents of those two files, just a record of their size so they can be recreated when restoring.
So deleting them won't affect your image size.
