I am running Altiris 6.9 SP 4. We have all Dell PCs in our school district, from the Optiplex 620 to the Optiplex 780 (and several inbetween. We just received (6) Optiplex 790 replacement computers. Since all our other computers are XP, I was trying to get it to connect to our XP image, but it can't. I also built the computer as a Windows 7, but cannot do a quick disk image to push it out to image the other 5. I am getting various errors about Memory Allocation and am not familiar with that. All of our other Optiplex models work fine. Any suggestions?? -Kelly

Can you post the error messages so that we can analyze the root cause

With newer Dells we've had to add the switch -oem when capturing an image and also had to capture as Ghost and deploy via WinPE 2.x.  no other combination of settings would work (for Win 7 64).

Exact error message will be helpful in finding the issue , also check log files for detailed information.

If you are deploying an image on multiple machines , then make sure you use Sysprep and DeployAnywhere .
