  • 1.  Immediate Plugin Installation

    I can push the agent to machines without a problem however the plugins that i have enabled do not install once the policy is applied. It goes into "Task never Started" status and schedules a time to run the packages at a later date. How can i change this behavior to install the plugins immediately?

     

    Plugins i am using:

    Inventory plug-in

    Monitor Plugin

    Software management solution plug-in

    software update plug-in

    Hi,

    Please check if your time and time-zone settings are in sync between NS server , SQL server and clients.

    If you enable "user can run" option on corresponding plugin install policy then you may try to launch plgin install on some client manually to verify download and install will pass.

    If you will have client there plugins were installed then you will be able to see install command in details tab of corresponding install policy (but I strongly suggest to find the root of "task never run" issue before attempting install with command lines).

    The time zones are in sync between computers.

    I did enable the ability for the user to run and i have been able to intall manually that way on several of my machines without issues.

    I noticed in your screenshot it says "Task Schedle: As soon as possible". However on my machines it says "Task Schedule Every 1 hours from 12:00am for 24 hours every 1 days, starting Monday, June 15, 2015". I can't figure out where i can change that though.
