Platform: SEP 12.1 RU1

OS: 2008 R2 SP1

SQL: Dedicated MS 2008 R2 STD server (seperate server)

Problem: Hostsfiles with Hostname / IP pairs greater than 50 Hosts take extended time to import, no notification when import is complete.

Request: Please provide workaround or notification when an "import status bar" can be added to make this process more consistant regardless of import list size.

Replication: 

1.) Startup SEP 12.1 RU1 Manager Java Console

2.) Login 

3.) From home screen -> Click dropdown in upper right (Common Tasks): -> Select "Install protection client to computers"

4.) Click "Next" to First screen

5.) Choose custom deployment options and click "Next"

6.) Choose "remote push" and click "Next"

7.) Click "Search Network" tab, then click "Find Computers"

8.) Click "Import computer list from file (Tab delimited text file)" radio button

9.) Click "Import" and choose a tab delimited file with Hostname / IP pairs and click "Select"

10.) Click "OK"

NOTE: At this point, clicking "OK" will not dump hosts into host selction pane.  You must wait and keep clicking "OK" at different intervals before the  hosts will dump into the selection pane correctly.
