Import List Of Files to Restore

Created: 02 Dec 2013 | 5 comments

Is there any way to take a list of files and generate an selection list to restore the files?  There were thousands of files encryped by the CryptoLocker virus.  I have a text file list of the files and I have the tape and date of the backup that I want to restore from.  I'm just trying to find an easy way rather than clicking the files one by one thousands of times!  Thanks!

Sorry. There is no such capability in BE. If your disk is infected, wouldn't it be easier to restore the entire disk?

It was a network share from an infected workstation.  So the whole disk is not infected.

Then restore the entire directory.

It's not 1 directory.  It's random files in random directories.

This makes it all the more important to restore the entire directory.  You don't want to miss any infected files.  Just restore the highest level of the directory structure.
