Trying to import SQL 2008 install files into my software library but get the following error:

"Failed to parse installation file for software resource details"

I had issues in 7.0 trying to add large packages but that was fixed in a SP. However, in 7.1 I am having the same issue. I even tried copying the package to the local NS and import it from there.

Does it time out, or immediately fail?  If it times out, exactly how long does it take?  The default timeout for the software library is 10 minutes, so you may want to change it on the Software Library Configuration page to something wild like 30 minutes (1800 seconds) just as a temporary troubleshooting step.

What additional details are present in the Altiris Log Viewer?

It runs for about 10 minutes before it quits. Let me change that and give it another shot.
