Inactive computers - Software Metering reports

This issue has been solved. See solution.

hi all,

we track Adobe Acrobat software (standalone license). There were about 5 computers which were replaced in august. These computers had Acrobat installed. Its now november and the "Installed Software" report still shows these computers - this is giving us an incorrect license count. I know that these computers are not being reused - they physically stored away in a container.

How can I manually set the status of the computer to "Inactive" or a similar status so that it is not included in the Installed Software report?

thank you in advance for your assistance

You should be able to right-click on the Computer record > CMDB Actions > Set Asset status > Retired. Or, if you haven't got Asset Management Solution, just right click > Set Asset status > Retired.

Although if you still own the PCs and they still have the software installed then I suspect you still have to pay for the license.
