  • 1.  Incident management: messages not released

    After configuring compliance rules bad outgoing messages land in the corresponding compliance folders as intended. But he admin is unable to Approve or Reject any incidents, because the system gives the error message "Not all selected messages could be released. See the Control Center logs for details."  What logs should I to look for exactly?

    The policy actions are configured like this below.

    Send notification "Email Policy Violation"
    Create an incident in "default"
    Message Review Approved Actions
    Deliver message normally
    Message Review Rejected Actions
    Delete message

    The system is the virtual appliance with a single installation.
    Any help?

    So are you releasing a bunch of messages?  If you try the individual messages on their own is it working for you?  One thing to watch out for is you can only approve or reject incidents where you have specified the hold for review.  If you have non hold for review incidents mixed in here and you are having the problem this may be the issue.

     

    You also might want to check the BrightmailLog.log Control Center log file to see if it has any errors around the time you are trying to approve or reject the incidents.
