  • 1.  Increase SEP Manager (12.1) Web Console Timeout

    I'd like to increase the time before my SEP Manager (12.1.1100.401) Web Console session dies, beyond 15 minutes. I have it set for 'Never' in the Admin, Servers, Local Site Properties. I followed guidance  to change the router.sessionTimeout in the link below (changed value from 900 to 3600), and that didn't help. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

    As I said in my original post, I already tried to change the default web console timeout this way. It had no effect.

    hi,

    Firstly you can increase changed value from 900 to 1800 sec.

    Check this it's working or not ?

    The 1800 is not working either. Interestingly, I timed the actual timeout duration, and its 10 minutes - not even the listed default 900 s (15 minutes). What else could be happening to end the session?

    The MS KB didn't help. I assume I was to attempt that change on my client (only). Thanks for the suggestion.

    Sepm Console > go to Admin tab > Servers > Local Site > Right Click Properties > Change the the time there. But this will apply to all admins. From 25 mins to 1 hr and Never.
